Gobble Gobble

Well, here is to another end of a great Thanksgiving. I hope that everyone's was as good as my families and yes it is time for old Man winter to start showing up. It is also a good time to make sure that you have looked at the caulking around the windows and doors so that he, (old man winter) does not enter your house uninvited. It is the little things that you do to get ready for winter that can save you on your heating bill. Making sure that the door has good weather stripping, and that the windows are locked, caulking is good, and all cracks are sealed up tight. You would be amazed at the heat loss that can occur. Most of this you can do yourself but for those high places that require a ladder you can give your painter a call for professional and reliable caulking and sealing of those hard to reach places.
Stay warm and toasty it could be a cold one this year.

GOOD JOB

In the painting world getting a good job is the key to being happy. Now a professional, you would think, would have all of the necessary tools and know how to give you just that and thus happiness should follow. Be careful, in today's world a professional may just mean some one with a card that says so. Check them out there portfolio and reference's and then ask your local paint store if they are up to snuff.
After a thorough check, look at how they set up, drops, tape and tools. Prep is the most important step in getting a good job, without it there is no way that the finish results will leave you with lasting happiness. Remember that painting is about getting the old to look new with lasting results, long time protection and of course complete and total happy satisfaction.

thus we enter

For all practical purposes we whom attempte to paint in any form are thinkers. there is a process that must be undertaken before we can begin. color does not just jump up on the page in the finite form unless we put it there. We can go thru countless color decks chosing a color that we like or just pick one that influences us in our surroundings. Alot of people pay someone to come in and analize there chocies for them, pick a color and tell them this is what they want. Me personally, I am a nature lover and I gather my color likes from what I see in the outside world sort of like the natural way of selection.
